Wonderful, heavy, durable, shiny saucepans. Would buy again.

These are high maintenance!! I have never had a set of pots & pans that require such care. They stain every time. They turn yellow, and the mineral deposits after boiling water can't be removed by just hand washing in dish water. After washing I have to rinse them with white vinegar to restore.I wonder what all these "acid" rinses will do to them over a period of time. I also wonder what we are ingesting from our food that has been cooked in these pots & pans. Are we or will we be ingesting aluminum and other metals because the stainless steel so thin that it can't tolerate normal cooking without discoloration?I should have returned them but threw the packing box away.

The pots are heavy and very good quality. I gave them as a gift to my grandson. I feel they are a great value and should last many years.

So far these are really great, they are not my first experience with stainless steel, so I know not to overheat and to use enough butter for things that stick such as eggs. A helpful trick is to let the pan heat up slowly, with heat set between low and medium at the highest. Drop a sprinkle of water and if it rolls around like a ball bearing then it’s evenly heated and ready for cooking.So far I love these pans!!!
