The stone withstands heat up to 2000°F without cracking or warping, including the thermal shock that comes with high-temperature grilling, so flavor and texture stay intact. Baking directly on the preheated stone evenly heats the bottom of the pizza, producing a crispy crust and a soft interior without the need for extra oil — the stone also helps drain away excess oil as the pizza cooks.
Good insulation means the stone holds heat well, keeping pizza warm even after it comes off the heat. The surface is smooth and resists sticking, so cleanup is simple: let it cool, then hand wash with water or use the included scraper to remove food residue.
