The hard anodized nonstick surface is specially treated to help prevent food from sticking, and the aluminum body conducts heat quickly and evenly for consistent cooking results.

The tempered glass lid has a steam vent for monitoring food while it cooks, and the riveted stainless steel handles are wide and deep for a comfortable, secure grip. The saucepan works on gas, electric, ceramic, and glass stovetops (it's not compatible with induction), is oven safe up to 500°F, and the glass lid is rated up to 350°F.
