This 4-quart deep sauté pan provides a spacious 10.5-inch cooking surface for frying, boiling, steaming, sautéing, and other everyday cooking tasks. Its deep, straight-sided design offers ample capacity for larger portions.

Made of multi-ply clad 18/10 stainless steel with an aluminum core extending through the base and walls, the pan provides fast and even heat distribution while helping prevent hot spots. The stainless steel construction is durable, easy to clean, and designed for long-term everyday use.

The stainless steel lid helps retain heat and moisture, while the riveted handles feature airflow technology for a comfortable grip and cooler handling during cooking. A tapered lip allows easier, drip-free pouring. Compatible with induction, gas, electric, glass, ceramic, and halogen cooktops; oven safe up to 500°F. Dishwasher safe; hand washing is recommended.

Cooks Standard Sauce pan

I cooked w/all the expensive brands for years, got this as an experiment and would gladly say it is as good as the high dollar brands. Never made a bad meal w/this thing. Very happy w/purchase.

Still my go to pan after 11 years

I have the 5 qt version of this pan that was purchased 11 years ago. It's used several times a week and has held up incredibly well. It cooks evenly and is very easy to clean. I've never put it in the dishwasher, it would take up too much space, but hand cleaning it with Dawn and a sponge works great. It's not non-stick, of course, but with a small of amount of oil I've never had an issue with most foods sticking. I don't see any reason to buy a more expensive pan.

Well worth the price, give stainless steel a try

This pan is an experiment, venturing into Stainless Steel. I am tired of sticky non-stick cookware, even taking recommended care of it. The non-stick wears off, even with the newer chemical free products. So what are we eating?Following the SS directions, even meat doesn't stick if I let it be until it releases. Cleanup is easy, and yes, it does stain a bit - but easily polishes well using Barkeepers Friend cleaner. Also, I did some research & the quality of this Cooks Standard product is in the multi-ply cladding. It heats up evenly, including the sides. Less expensive models only heat the bottom. Makes a big difference.

Very versatile pan

I really like this pan. I have a large Stainless Steel fry pan as well. This pan is really nice for thick cabbage slices sauteed in butter and then a little water to steam, S&P Mozzarella cheese and bacon bits. Its perfect for browning meatballs and then add a sauce.
