The Cooks Standard 8-Piece Multi-Ply Clad Copper Cookware Set, Stainless Steel includes: 1.5 and 3 quart covered saucepans, 8 quart covered stockpot, 10-inch fry pan, and stainless steel steamer insert that fits in the 8 quart stockpot. Multi-ply clad construction is a combination of 18/10 stainless steel interior with an aluminum core and the exterior is polished copper. Copper is excellent for heat conductivity and looks great. Stainless steel is durable and cleans easily. Aluminum core for quick heating and prevents hot spots. Stainless steel lid keeps heat and moisture in for flavor. Riveted handles stay cool and comfortable. Not Induction compatible. Works on gas, electric, glass, halogen, ceramic, etc. Oven safe to 500F. Copper may discolor from oxygen in the air and discolor faster when heated; even when not in use. Regular polishing is recommended, even when not in use. Not dishwasher safe, please wipe dry immediately after cleaning. Lightly polish with a dry cloth, water residue may stain or tarnish surface. Cookware cleaner such as Bar Keepers Friend is recommended for polishing and restoring the luster of copper.
