Sized for cooking in bulk, this 8-quart stock pot from Cook N Home is built for soups, stocks, pasta, canning, and other big-batch recipes.
The pot is made from mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to deformation and everyday wear. An aluminum disc sits between the steel layers on the base, spreading heat evenly across the bottom of the pot for consistent cooking results.
It works on gas, electric, glass, ceramic, halogen, and induction stovetops, and is oven safe up to 500°F (the glass lid is rated to 350°F). The tempered glass lid includes a steam vent so you can monitor food without lifting the lid, and the riveted stainless steel handles are wide and deep for a secure hold. Both the pot and lid are dishwasher safe, and the smooth surfaces and stackable design make it easy to clean and store.
